Alexander Bigelow wrote a very heartwarming article about the Whatcom Community College library in the June 7th edition of the Horizon (the official WCC student newspaper). Among other things he highlighted some of the resources that we provide all students:
The lower level of the library has nearly 30 computer stations, five DVD players with TV monitors and personal booths, a lounge area underneath the stairs, two copy machines, magazine racks stocked with recent issues of Rolling Stone, Sports Illustrated, Harvard Business Review and many more.
I’d only have one thing to add to that: Don’t forget the librarians!!
We are very happy to help with citations, research, resource location and pretty much anything. I’m typically on the desk Tuesday evenings so please stop by to see me.
